May 11

Robin is not having a good day. Low HR and BP, leg cramps and a clot in her leg. You may want to consider that when making visitation plans.

Just got my blood donation done. Since there is no record of me giving blood, and I didn't go to the headquarters, I will have to wait for my platelet count to be tested at the HQ's.

Since they drew blood for the test, I just gave a donation in the process. For deteriming your platelets, it would be a few vials worth. The extra pint took about 20-30minutes.

They will know my platelets in a few days, then I can set up an appt for platelets donation. The process of extracting the platelets from your blood is a little longer process. The nurses said plan on giving up a few hours of your time to do this.

I stayed with Robin after Chris went home. Robin is taking norepinephrine and phenylphrine to keep her blood pressure up. The phenylphrine pump stopped working for some reason and her blood pressure dropped within a couple of minutes.

As soon as the nurse resumed the phenylphrine drip, her blood pressure climbed back to normal.

Robin was tired and not feeling well during my stay. I recommend visitors (except family or course) to call the nurse's station to get Robin's status before visiting her.
